Differentiating Sitecore

Partners and prospects are always asking about what makes Sitecore better than or different from other Content Management Systems. This question is a loaded one, as what makes a CMS better than another typically comes down to what it is that you want out of it. As you have probably read a thousand times, the ability to deliver a CMS project is difficult because of all of the moving parts. Ultimately when I have seen successful CMS projects, it comes down to putting together a plan and gathering requirements from all parties involved (yes the technical team and the marketing team have to work together) and using those requirements to evaluate what solution fits your organization and business best.
