Integration Friendly Sitecore

I read an article today that mentioned how the ability to integrate with existing applications and infrastructure should be a key factor when selecting your Web Content Management solution.  I think what is important to note is not just integration, but as Stephen Powers mentions in a recent blog post, the “quality” of integration.  Sitecore’s API is very extensive and as John West posted back in August in his Differentiating Sitecore Blog, using Sitecore’s extensive Application Programming Interface (API), you can integrate virtually any application with Sitecore.
